    Just checked out this new restaurant in town. It has AMAZING Syrian food! perfectly cooked on a charcoal. Hospitality and ambiance was like sitting at my friend's house for dinner. What more could you want?

    This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Northern Edmonton. A perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. We went as a group of 6 and kids and must say service and experience was very good which you don't often find at fancy pricey restaurants nowadays. It was full when we reached and had to wait for a while but it was worth. We 1kg meat platter and grilled chicken and it was amazing. Meat was tenderly cooked with juicy flavors exploding your taste buds. The dine in area is not that big so if it's a big group, there might be waiting. Make sure to reserve ahead of time and most importantly show up to honor the reservation. I believe it's operated by a family, a classic example of local family operated restaurant. Love and hospitality needs no language. They might not be a 10/10 but what's important is they thrive to be which a lot of other restaurants don't. I am surprised why they haven't yet been featured in any of the restaurant blogs on social media? Would definitely recommend this and be there again. Most importantly, it is easy on your pockets in this inflated world.

    Safaratas restaurant is a wonderful place for Mediterranean food. They offer a bjg variety of wonderful Mediterranean plates. They provided us a great customer service. Food amounts were great. Staff were so friendly . Definitely visiting Safratas today was a wonderful experience. We will be definitely coming to here again and again.

    The grilled meat and chicken are excellent, but the standout dishes are the fish and Sayadeya rice. Everything is full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Plus, the prices are very affordable! Thanks Abo Mohamed

    Amazing food! Great people! Very welcoming! I was so happy and felt like back home (iraq). The portions are big and the people are very hospitable and generous! We came to Edmonton from Calgary and our aim wasn't here, however, we came by coincidence and it was the best in my opinion! Highly recommended

    I gave them five stars because of the sample place but the very good food came, I tested the grills it was very tasty and juicy, and I tested Fawargh or Mombar which were very good. My family enjoyed of launch there. Definitely, I will return and test the rest of the menu.

    Absolutely the best food in Edmonton .. best Kebab, Best grilled fish you will ever taste in YEG.. great atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
